Super easy to deal with

As simple as it gets. Insurance is hard to understand in the first place (auto, health, optometry) after reaching my 250$ annual deductible (which is pretty easy) I get 90% money back of everything else that it covers. Nail clippings and anal glass are a regular monthly thing for my mini dachshund. Annual Teeth cleaning is a must. And God forbid anything happens to his back I have options and don’t have to scramble!

Pet Insurance is a MUST

I have pet insurance for all my pets. For those cases when there is an accident (and much more) it helps provides me piece of mind that my pet is covered. Some of my other friends have different insurance but hands-down Nationwide is the top!

Nationwide has helped my pet live a longer and happier life

I am very pleased with my pet insurance from Nationwide, this has been a challenging year for my furry children and knowing I have this insurance is peace of mind that I can give them the best possible care out there. I will never have another pet without this insurance as coverage.

So glad I got this insurance

I don’t know what I’d do without it. Bella needed 2 surgeries and the coverage made it affordable. They covered it and her vet bills.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
