This insurance has been a lifesaver.
We are so glad that we got this insurance for our dog and cat. It has definitely paid for itself. It’s been great to be able to provide the best care for our pets without having to always stress about the cost of care.

Pet insurance pays for itself!
I have been a dog Mom all of my life and have seen lots of health issues and spent LOTS of money fixing them because my dogs are part of my family. We got insurance due to the money we spent in cancer treatments and on emergency vet visits. We also have the wellness policy which pays for many routine procedures.
This insurance has paid off several times over and I will always have coverage on my dogs. The claims process has been quick and efficient.

Very comforting to know my baby is covered!
My shepherd has been with Nationwide since I got him as a puppy they've always been there, and nice to know even in his old age I don't have to worry. Just got over a major scare from pancreatitis but I knew he was covered it takes away a lot of the stress!. Customer service is awesome, claims processing is easy! Coverage is getting steep as he ages, but worth having as I know they are taking care of him!

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
