Having my insurance plan has been a true life (and bank) saver!!

My dog Riley has been sick off and on most of the time I have had her. She was recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that will require lifeline medication. In the last few months I've had vet bills in excess of $7,000. I submitted claims after each expensive trip to the hospital or vet. At least 1/2 of those totals were paid by the insurance plan. Thank goodness I purchased the plan shortly after adopting Riley, The Million Dollar Doggo!

Cost vs Service

I am only keeping this policy because in the past most of my pets have had hugh costs as they get older. I am not pleased with your reimbursement scale. It appears that you think my vet is less knowledgeable about my pet's needs than you.

Are you and your pet protected? With Nationwide we most certainly are.

I hesitated with the thought of getting insurance for my pet but decided to give a call to Nationwide after a confident recommendation from my veterinarian. Many of you considering insurance likely have a vet like mine who you've shared the care and passing of other pets. They become a family member who you trust full-heartedly. Wow- am I glad I listened, took the pamphlet and called. Nationwide has my back! Our story has a happy ending! My first GSD pup of just a few months was playing in an open field with a much leaner muscular dog and sustained a muscular injury which left her with some lameness and me with concern. We immediately saw the vet and were referred for X-Rays. I followed all precautions as in the case of a severe injury. After months of crate rest my pup remained fatigued and lame and we were referred to a specialist and had further imaging tests completed. Nationwide followed their research protocol and not only I was fully compensated, I had the best experience with their staff every time I called. I maintain a standard of expectations from a service that I pay for. I hold Nationwide in high regard. As my pup is growing and recovering I have peace-of-mind knowing Nationwide has my back.

Knowing I had insurance for my Toy Poodle allowed me to provide him all the care he needed without hesitation.

My Toy Poodle was recently diagnosed with anal sac cancer. Due to the insurance coverage I have had since he was a puppy, the coverage allowed me to obtain all the tests, surgery, and positive results he needed. His cancer did not spread to any other organs since we had him diagnosed early and we have always been proactive in maintaining his health. I cannot say enough about the peace of mind I have knowing that he is cared for by the best vet and the best insurance provider.
