thank you Nationwide for the ease of filing a claim!

I never want my pets to have to see the vet. But this time I was so thankful I did. And so thankful that Nationwide is my insurer! Regarding the question below...I recommend Nationwide to every pet owner that asks if I have pet insurance....and many that don't! :-)

I love Nationwide

This is my 3rd dog that’s been on Nationwide Insurance and they have been great! My Mastiff developed a tumor in her heart and had to have surgery, chemo, Cardiologist &Oncologist visits with blood work and scans. It was thousands of dollars and true to their words they paid the claims at 90% after the deductible. Shortly after she passed we rescued another Mastiff puppy and he bit through the bars of his crate and knocked out 2 teeth. He had to have surgery to remove the roots and again Nationwide paid the claims after the deductible. Any and all of my dogs will have Nationwide coverage!!!!

Nationwide Pet Insurance helps keep our Fur Babies healthy!

I am very pleased in Nationwide Pet Insurance! They help keep my Fur Baby happy and healthy! The ease of submitting claims and the response time in getting reimbursed is great! I would recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance to anyone who loves their Pet!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
