Nationwide has been our saving grace.

Our experience with VPI/Nationwide has been incredible. We have ran into several instances where our dog has become ill and we have always felt confident in doing what is best for his health because we are hopeful that our coverage will take care of us. It has always pulled through so we are firm believers in investing here and recommend Nationwide at every chance we get.

Fast & easy!

I can’t say enough good things about pet insurance - it is literally a life saver. To be able to give my babies everything they need without the financial worry is priceless. I take the time to understand my policy and the involved procedures, so have no issues. I was also so happy about how fast Leo’s claim’s got processed this time - the turnaround time has decreased dramatically and that is an enormous relief. Thank you nationwide! Leo is feeling and doing great now!

Excellent customer service to questions, claims etc

We are so thankful we have you guys because you have made this stressful situation regarding my bentley’s Health more at ease so we can focus on him instead of our bills. I’m amazed how fast you guys processed our claims without issues. Our family thanks you for caring so much about our baby.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
