Great service from Nationwide!

My dog wouldn't eat and was vomiting. We discovered later that he had eaten an entire dead rabbit and had a near bowel obstruction. He went to the urgent vet with x-rays and hydration. Ultimately, things started to move and he did not require surgery! thanks to Nationwide he could get the care he needed and the claim process was simple! Thank you!!

Thank goodness for Nationwide

I could not have provided cancer treatment for my dog Jake if I had not had Nationwide Pet Insurance. He is currently cancer free.

I sing the praise of Nationwide Pet Insurance to everyone. We are so grateful for this coverage. It is affordable, easy to submit a claim, and reimbursement is so quick. Could not be happier! And thank you for recently covering the ENTIRE expense of our Cleo girl’s TPLO surgery - from pre-op xrays to final follow up, everything was covered!

My 13 y/o pug is so thankful for pet insurance! Old dogs matter because they’re like a child you’ve raised

My pug bailey has been on meds awhile from dry eyes, getting ear infections, or skin irritations from pet groomers. Also apart of the breed she needs medical attention and knowing I have her covered is so relieving! Thanks for taking care of our fur babies!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
