This product is such such a blessing.

I have held pet insurance for over 15 years. First with Veterinary Pet, and now with Nationwide pet insurance. Those companies were excellent in the way they handled their business. I will continue to recommend this product to everyone I run into who cares about their pets.

Best Decision Ever

I toggled with the idea of pet insurance when I got my dog and am so glad I found Nationwide's pet insurance. You never know when you're animal needs vet care, and bills stack up quickly, especially as a puppy! There's no better feeling than the peace of mind you get from having insurance and knowing no matter what you can take care of your little fur ball. It so easy to file a claim, and you get a check back in the mail super quick! They check in on my pet and provide other helpful services that makes me feel like they really are on my side. It's the best decision I've made in the past year to get pet insurance with Nationwide.

Reliable and prompt and easy claims

you guys are awesome! You’ve covered my dog through tough times and I’m thankful! I just lost my fur baby Murphy RIP and will always use you’re company for coverage of any future pets and the boxer I have currently.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
