Easy and processed quickly

The hardest part was scanning my documents - and honestly, that’s not that hard. I attached them to an email, got a confirmation reply, and shortly thereafter had my EOB and reimbursement. The process is super simple, and they have FAQs and even videos to walk you through submitting claims. Everything I expected to be covered was covered. Couldn’t have asked for a smoother claim.

Nationwide is the best!

I just can't say enough good things about Nationwide. Our dog is 10 months old so our claims have been for wellness visits. So far I couldn't be happier with Nationwide. I am so glad they were my choice.

They give fraudulent information

I had this insurance for years & when I needed them they failed. Read the small print. I tried to change my insurance coverage 3 years ago and I was denied.

Dependable friendly help when you need it most

Finn is a basically a healthy dog who went through a bad time. The comfort of having Nationwide being there to help us through this time let me know I could provide the care we needed to get him back on his paws again.

Best coverage

Best coverage, had different company for previous furry baby, they were horrible. Nationwide has been a pleasure fast processing of Bernies claims! Thank you!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
