Great coverage and quick reimbursements

Thank you for the great service these past 4 and a half years. Coverage is great and filing a claim is extremely easy. Even more so now that our vet submits them for us. Communications on pending claims are clear and reimbursements are quick. THANK YOU!

Easier than Human Health Insurance

Our Pet is covered under Nationwide's My Pet Protection with Wellness Plan, which is simply phenomenal! Being skeptical of insurance in general, I was just thankful that our pet was covered in the event of accidents or serious health conditions, turns out our insurance does much more than that! Preventative care, prescriptions, and check ups are all covered and reimbursed at 90%!!! Submitting a claim is as easy as scanning your veterinarian invoices and uploading them to Nationwide's claim services. The turn around on claims is fast and money is directly deposited into your account. No hassle, no resubmission or denial back and forth. It's easier than having human health insurance!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
