Great
Nationwide has been a blessing for me lately. My girl has had several issues in the past several months. After seeing 4 different vets and two surgeries, she is feeling better and on the road to recovery. If Nationwide was not fast with process of claims I am not sure if My dog would have made it. Their quick processing of claims help me pay for the next visit to her doctor and saved me very much money. Thank you Nationwide

Nationwide Is a Great Choice
We've had Nationwide for three years. Claims are paid quickly and deposited directly to our checking account. Policies are easy to read and understand, and customer service has always been helpful. The only reason we rated 9 overall was that they changed their plan pricing this past year making their wellness plan no longer cost effective. Their major medical plan was still a good compromise for us cost-wise though. Would (and have) recommended Nationwide to others looking for pet insurance.

Everyone is so nice when you call! They mail out the refunds in a timely fashion. They ask questions and care about your pet. So far been very happy with this insurance company.

Great pet insurance
Having Nationwide pet insurance on my dog has saved me money and given me a peace of mind on his wellness and unexpected vet care. Filing a claim is easy. Downside: online website is not user friendly and did not like the policy number changed upon renewal.
Monthly Cost
Policies start at approximately $12 per month.
Coverage
Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period

Exclusions
