Strict coverage restrictions for pre-existing conditions.
Needs comprehensive coverage at a more reasonable price. If conditions are excluded from coverage, then an adjustment should be made to the price of the policy as I am covered for less and less but still pay full price. Further, GI exclusions should be specific rather than excluding the ENTIRE system as it is extensive and complex and reduces the number of issues I am covered for whilst paying FULL price for FULL coverage. Further, Online portals, apps, and other platforms need to be optimized, streamlined, made more accessible, and to offer more features and tools. Lastly, the I.D. card and collar tag need to be made of more durable, long-lasting material and to include more details.

I would never be without Nationwide Pet insurance
I have all 4 of my furry kids insured through National. Including my 21 year old kitty. All I can say is thank you, thank you! Great job!

Ever since the integration with VitusVet, Nationwide claims processes have become easy and seamless, making it easier to take advantage of the comprehensive protection offered for my pup.
Monthly Cost

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
