Extremely happy with Nationwide Pet Insurance experience

Very pleased with Nationwide Pet Insurance - I have had many pets over the last 15 years, and have tried multiple pet insurance companies over the years (more recently Trupanion and Healthy Paws in last 10 years). Nationwide with the wellness rider covers everything that the other insurance companies do not (preventative care, office visits) - and they reimburse quickly. Most recently I had a $950 invoice that covered a biopsy and pre-anesthesia package for tumor removal... the vet visit was on a Monday and I had the full (100%) reimbursement in my bank account by Friday (VitusVet app). I'm really impressed with how streamlined this experience with Nationwide has been and the extent of coverage - especially through this difficult time after learning my 9 year old Lab was diagnosed with a malignant tumor.

Love This Pet Insurance - Love the only pay the deductible once!!

I really like my Pet w/Wellness insurance with Nationwide, I had another plan before with one of your competitors and couldn't wait to change, after the loss of one our girls who had a pre-existing condition so we were stuck with them. Despite the ever-increasing rates (large increases), my girl's "final expenses", emergency services & cremation were not covered and it was just so callous and awful. Our new puppy is now well covered and all of her vaccinations, prescription food, flea & tick med, heartworm med are all now covered - next up getting her spayed and microchipped - both covered by this new policy. Can't say enough good about this company. For only a few dollars more per month I'm getting WAY better coverage for our "old" girl who I switched from the other company and for our "baby" who has been on Nationwide since we got her at 9 weeks old - she's now 7 months old and all of the new puppy vet stuff has been fully covered after paying the $250 deductible ONCE, not at each claim.
