easy to communicate with company and responsive

I have recommended insurance company to several of friends that have puppies. I am extremely lucky that my vet recommended Nationwide for Dante. Unfortunately he has had a serious of illnesses and I pray he continues to get better but I am glad Nationwide is there to help with the costs

Best decision ever

I have three dogs . A puppy, a senior and adolescent. They all have different medical needs. Nationwide helps me take care of them. My senior boy has a few medical issues where having nationwide has made a stressful situation less stressful.

REcent shoulder surgery

I was very pleased with the speed it which to claim was paid. I had the money in hand before I even received the bill and almost all of the bill was covered. It helps make the decision for medical care a no brainer when I don't need to be concerned that the dollar amount is going to have a huge, negative impact on my budget and my ability to get my other pets the medical care they need.

Nationwide Pet Insurance Gives Me Peace of Mind.

I have had Nationwide Pet Insurance for several years on my dog. She had two major health issues in the last three years. The major medical has paid for each event as stated in the plan with no problems or confusion. The ease of filing claims is the best part. It is comforting to know that Nationwide is a premier company that gives me ease of mind when large veterinary bills arise.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
