I am glad I purchased pet insurance from Nationwide
I have had pet insurance many years ago. I discontinued it because they never paid enough of the vet charges to equal the payment.
This is my fourth dog of this breed and have never had an issue with hips or back. The vet assistant at the office was talking about pet insurance and how it has changed thru the years and she encouraged me to try it again. I purchased the insurance when my dog was a puppy. Sometime later maybe when he was about 2 yrs old, he started limping and after many doctors and specialists, we found out he had injured his hips and back and has arthritis. He is doing better now, but he needs ongoing care. Nationwide has paid many of my bills, which I was surprised about because of my past experience with pet insurance.
I live the company so much, that I purchase a policy for my nephew's new puppy.
