Not much to complain about

It’s been a big year for my senior dog (tumor removal, chemotherapy, and a second benign mass removal), and Nationwide was a lifesaver. I didn’t need to interact much directly with customer service—I just sent my claims in online and was reimbursed. They didn’t give me a hard time with reimbursements and they covered everything as it was laid out in the policy; the EOB was easy to read. It could be a little faster—after submitting a claim, you don’t get a confirmation email for a day or two (an immediate confirmation that the order was received would be nice) and then payment usually comes about a week after that. But, overall, they were easy to use and saved me $$$ this year!

Great Service

Nationwide has been so helpful in helping me take care of my claims. They have a great app called VitusVet that allows you to upload your claims immediately and they are reimbursed within a week. It’s made it so much easier to make sure my pup gets what he needs without worrying about cost.

Too long to process claims

The claims take a long time to process. Then those that are escalated take even longer. I would expect those escalated would have more of a quicker response considering there was already a delay in the first triage of process.

Because of how helpful you have been, I have been able to provide my dog Max with the medical attention he needs.

Because of how helpful you have been, I have been able to provide my dog Max with the medical attention he needs. Max was recently and suddenly diagnosed with a nasal carcinoma. It has been very expensive, but thanks to the ease and promptness of Nationwide's reimbursement, I have been able to provide my dog Max with the medical care and medicine he needs to have a comfortable and healthy life. Without Nationwide, Max would unfortunately go without many of the treatments and medicines he needs because the costs are so high. I appreciate all you have done for baby Max!
