Best decision I could’ve made for my pets and my wallet

I feel so confident that I can take the best care of my cats knowing I have nationwide backing them. I’m not worried that I can’t do a necessary treatment because of the price. Everything is handled quickly and being able to submit claims via an app is outstanding!

Great dog insurance

Nationwide has been great. Our dog is our child, it’s such a relief knowing whatever happens we can afford to keep our dog alive. There’s so many things that can happen but at least we know we have the means to pay for his care.

Tremendous help in allowing us to care for our pet when we otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford it.

I am proponent for pet insurance. Nationwide has made it easy to submit claims and they are quick in processing and paying out claims. I would highly recommend them.

Outstanding Service! 10/10

Been with Nationwide for over five years. they get better each year. Lately I'm noticing the claims are being completed within a week. great job everybody. Your 10/10 in all departments.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
