Better than nothing!

Due to receiving a union discount I decided to go with Nationwide and I can't say I have had too many complaints. I've had my girl for a year and I signed up for it within days of adopting her (she was 8-9 weeks old) and since then I've paid around $1,700 in vet bills; I have been reimbursed for around 28% of it as of November 2019. Not a whole lot in the grand scheme of things but it's better than nothing. I opted for the Major Medical Plan with a Wellness Rider so at least some of her wellness visits were reimbursed. Again, not the best but it certainly gives me peace of mind!

Great experience thus far

Great experience thus far. Using the app is easy and quick. Claims are efficient and handled promptly. So far we’ve had a very good experience. We have two dogs insured with Nationwide Pet Insurance. The peace of mind alone is great!

Thank goodness for Nationwide!

I have four cats and it is a relief to have insurance. I'm not happy about the increase in cost for my Persians. It jumped over $200.

Love my pet insurance company!

I was hesitant at first to purchase pet insurance. I researched several companies and landed with Nationwide. I’m glad I did. The ease of submitting claims and getting reimbursed is second to none.

I recommend Nationwide to all of my colleagues

Nationwide has made claims so easy. When I found out my Stanley had a cataracts at 3 months and would be facing cataract surgery at a year old and what the surgery would cost I was flabbergasted. I never had pet insurance with any of my other dogs, all of who were rescues and lived until 13, 15 1/2, 16 and 19 without any vet bills except for wellness and spading so when a colleague of mine who found out I was getting a pure breed called me and recommended getting Nationwide insurance through our employer because of potential issues pure bred dogs might have, I decided to heed his advice. It was one of the best decision I have made.

Policies start at approximately $12 per month.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
