Issue Using Nationwides Claim Service
This was overall a really positive experience. Called the customer service hotline two separate times to discuss whether the insurance would cover the operation. Both ladies were extremely friendly, and while I understood the policy is not to say "yes its covered" on the phone, they were very knowledgeable.
The only issue I had with this experience is that your claim submission website was down for three days... I ultimately had to download the Vitusvet app to submit my claim. Which I only learned of from calling your customer service hotline (once again amazing). Was frustrating given that I had to pay out of pocket for the operation and needed to get a refund as soon as possible to cover other expenses.

Best insurance ever.
Learned about pet insurance from my son. His dog had some early problems and it really paid off for him. When we got our new puppy we checked into insurance.
Nationwide was one of the ones she recommended. After researching the companies I decided to go with Nationwide. They had the best coverage as far as I could tell. I selected Nationwide and am glad I did. The customer service has been excellent and payments are timely. Best choice I have ever made. Totally worth it to me. Thanks Nationwide!

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Exclusions
