I am so happy I decided to protect my precious creature with Nationwide!
The customer service people are very knowledgeable and helpful. The vet hotline is super informative -- they have the time to answer those questions you forgot to ask your vet. And they follow-up, which means so much. I was a little confused by the notices about my claim, but it all worked out fine in the long run.

Easy and reassuring to have this insurance for my fur baby!!
I highly recommend getting pet insurance for your pet. There is no questioning whether or not to schedule a well visit for your beloved fur baby with it. I am so glad I have it.

Peace of Mind
My 8 year old Corgi mix had a lump under his arm. I took him to the vet for and exam and biopsy. Thank God it was benign. Nationwide honored my claim quickly and paid all but $3.00 of the vet bill.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
