Cares about my fur baby

Duncan has been having an issue with his skin/allergies. We have tried several medications with no avail so he had to go to a specialist. Nationwide has been great to work with and has followed up on how he is feeling. The claims are easy to submit and quick turnarounds.

So far so good!

So far I let the mobile application to file claims and the processing turn around time. Only reason I did not give you 10 paws is I did check prices and Nationwide is a little higher.

Fantastic, easy to use and so helpful!

We are so happy we have Nationwide pet insurance for our puppy. They are always available for questions and the app to file claims is so easy to use., we’ve been reimbursed within a week or so each time. We will continue this insurance even as she grows.

Great customer service and very quick claim turn around time

Nationwide has been such a huge help with our problem child dog. Our dog before her was a very old boxer when he got cancer and we didn't have insurance on him so the stress of his treatments on top of the stress about mone was really difficult. nationwide has completely taken the financial stress off our shoulders for Birdie though and we're so grateful. Their claims have a very fast turn around and their customer service team is always helpful.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
