Nationwide is There When We Need Them
Our nine year old malamute had to have a second surgery on her knee, and it was a worrisome time that also was expensive. She’s home recovering now, but Nationwide acted on the claim immediately, and it appears that the bill is being covered almost entirely. Such a relief, and Nationwide made a bad situation so much easier. I appreciate the clear, direct response and making it possible for my pet to get all the care she needs.

Pet insurance, completely worth it!
I am so glad I got pet insurance when my babies were babies! I have one that is very low maintenance and I have one that makes up for several. Having Nationwide Pet Insurance has given me the peace of mind to be able to provide every health need to my high maintenance Mastiff so she can live the most comfortable life possible in a world where she is allergic to basically everything in the air that surrounds her!

Great service, pays out fast
Great service and easy to submit claims. Just wish the limit was higher as I now have to wait until October before I can make another claim

Super Grateful for this insurance!
I am super grateful to have nationwide pet insurance to help cover the cost of care of my fur babies. It’s stressful enough to have sick pets, but even worse to have to worry about how to cover the expenses. Claim refunds are turned around quickly, and it’s super easy to submit and follow up!

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
