Surprise vet bills are no fun. Jan. 2020 It cost me just about a $1000 for my dogs ear infection. Nationwide Pet re-imbursed me 90% after my deductible. Outstanding service. I have three English Bulldogs -- a breed well-known for medical issues and expensive vet bills. I have Nationwide's Accident, Injury and Wellness plan for each of them. Recently, one of my more devious boys swallowed a rope toy and required abdominal exploratory surgery to remove it. As a pet parent that treats her pups like family, a surgery like this is stressful and scary, and the last you need during that time is worrying about the ever-mounting bill. Nationwide's claim process is simple and quick. They've never hounded me for additional information or argued with me over covered expenses, and the reimbursements are direct deposited into my bank account, usually within 7-10 days. I've had pet insurance with other well known companies in the past, and Nationwide's premiums are much less while providing the same level of benefits. I highly recommend Nationwide.

My plan is not only wellness care, it is care of emergencies, Veterinary emergency care, yearly dental cleanings, and shots. The hotline to ask for advice when there is an accident or any other concerns. Expensive, yes, but the care we give our pets today is exceptional.

Too much e-commerce. More calls, letters regarding claims and policy's coverages. General personal touch lacking.
