Easy peasy insurance pays for itself
We’ve used the 24 hr vet line and have filed a few claims since got our insurance. Submitting claims is insanely easy and process quickly. It’s paid for itself. I’ve never had pet insurance on a pet before but I’m so glad we decided to do it this time.

You are awesome
Lola recently underwent surgery and you were all with me 100% of the time from asking for advice, to my other dog inadvertently eating some of Lola's medication to paying my claim. I especially want to thank the CS ladies I spoke with on several occasions they were incredibly helpful and both went the extra mile. I hope you have record of my conversations and who they were because you should be thankful you employ people like that.

Impressive!
I have very very impressed with how quickly Nationwide responds to a claim. It is a very easy process to submit a claim. I’m so glad I have my pet insurance through them.
Monthly Cost
Policies start at approximately $12 per month.
Coverage
Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
