Great Deal
Nationwide has been extremely helpful with vet bills recently. Our 5 ye old Boston terrier has bad siezures that required hospitalization. After he got out he injured his eye. Doing the claims on the vitus vet app is super easy and fast. The checks come very quickly. Great pet policy. I’m very glad we have our dogs covered. I actually bought the two policies mainly for our older Boston but we have needed more for the younger one recently. I highly recommend this.

Huge Help to our dog and our budget!
We couldn't be happier that we decided to purchase Nationwide for our dog when we got him as a puppy! He has struggled with some health issues (allergies, seizures that were cured, dog bronchitis, etc.) Between our super vets and Nationwide, Boji is a healthy, happy dog in a family who loves him dearly!

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
