COVID & sick dog
During this unprecedented time of the COVID 19 virus and being furloughed from my job, Nationwide was there for us. My dog had a bad allergy and spending almost $200 - which I didn't really have - to care for my pet was really hard. But Nationwide paid 90% of my claim easy and quickly. Thank you Nationwide for being there. I never considered not taking my dog to the vet, it was just an added measure of comfort during this financial crisis. Thank you

The companyâs most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the companyâs most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.

No age restriction to enroll in companyâs most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
