Fantastic insurance coverage - can't believe I am actually giving an insurance company 10 out of 10.

I have worked with a couple other pet insurance companies and not one of them has been as easy to work with. Nationwide is responsive, easy to place a claim with and amazingly fast on approvals and payouts. I'm impressed and would recommend them to anyone with pets as I found out, you just never know when a large expense can happen and having this insurance makes sure I can make the best decisions for my pets without having to worry about the cost as another deciding factor for best treatments.

Horrible company

Worst pet insurance company ever. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you care at all about your pet, because they don't. They reject claims consistently and provide horrible service overall. If I could give a 0 in the ratings, I would.

The entire process of Rudys Surgery to processing the claim was so easy.

Everyone that I spoke with regardining Rudy's claim was professional. It was a seamless process. I love Nationwide. I will never not have insurance on my dogs.

Wouldn't be without it

I have had pet insurance (now Nationwide) for over 10 years and would not be caught without it. Their plans are fair and their support is great. Keep up the good job.

Nationwide Pet Insurance is there for you 100%

Nationwide has always been extremely responsive with all my pets. They care about my precious Shelties, and always check in with us. I would recommend them in a heart beat, and I was blessed that we had our last Sheltie girl, Akira, lived to 15 1/2 years old, and was so happy that we had her care under Nationwide!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
