Long Time Customer
I have had our Lab (Tank) insured with Nationwide since he was a pup 10 years ago. Having him insured has given me peace of mind that a major medical concern would give me financial assistance to help him. Nationwide has been easy to work with and over the 10 years they have refined their process to make it a no-hassle experience. Having the wellness option on the policy encourages me to keep vaccines and other health features up to date. My only reason for not giving a “10” rating is their direct deposit of claim money still needs refining.

Best pet insurance ever
I can't stop telling everyone I know about how amazing this pet insurance is! It covers everything, it's very easy to submit new claims and it's fulfilled electronically...I recommend this to everyone getting a new pet and will always use Nationwide for future pets!

So lucky to have Nationwide!
We are so lucky to have Nationwide as our insurance provider for our pup, Remy. Submitting claims with them is super easy and quick and we get the reimbursements back SO FAST! It honestly amazes me at how quick the turnaround can be. Every reimbursement has been fair and I am amazed at how much is covered under our plan. Thank you Nationwide!

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
