Don't know how I lived without this insurance for so long

I am so pleased with my pet insurance from Nationwide. The claims process is so easy and, now that I have wellness visits included, submitting claims has become even easier and reimbursements have arrived very quickly. Knowing that most of our vet expenses are largely covered is such a huge relief, especially if we are facing any expensive procedures. Are dogs are our babies, so it's extremely important to us that we are able to take care of them.

So happy to have this insurance

Our 6 month old puppy loves going after flying insects and got a bee recently. He quickly became ill and lethargic. Within an hour, we had him at the hospital and it was good we did. Nationwide is timely in responding/processing claims and we are happy we covered our puppy.

Best investment in my pet's health.

Nationwide has been the best investment I've made in Kermit's health. He is a rescue Boston from NEBTR. He was labeled a "Diamond in the Rough". Kermit is reactive, so he will almost mimick what another pet does, if a dog or cat is calm, he will be calm. He is clingy because he was left overnight at a shelter with no note, food, or water.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
