Thank you for being awesome

Have had to file 4 claims in the past couple of months and have appreciated Nationwide's system of review and making the process very easy. They applied the deductions, which I was already aware of, and approved at least 90% of the claims after that. SO thankful, as we were not expecting so many emergency situations to come up as they did for our dog Bear. Really glad I joined Nationwide and totally recommend them.

Great service

For the past 11 years we have been very happy with per insurance services It gives us peace of mind. We r grateful Junior has been overall a healthy boxer he does tend to be accident prone but in his old age he is slowing down a bit. We go on walks everyday he wakes up happy and energized, we cook his meals using whole grains and mostly organic vegetable and protein which we feel contributes to his overall health we are expecting many more years with Junior Thank you

Delay Delay and more Delay

I had a very difficult time to try to get reimbursed on my dog's claims. Nationwide stated he claims never received even though I had someone assisting me. We had to try numerous times to have the claim/questionnaire sent from the Vets to Nationwide. Delays delays and more delays. Nationwide requested information about my dog before he was even born! My dog was at the breeder from May 2019 to December 2019. They insisted on information about him when he was weeks old! I didn't own him then. sigh. I would highly recommend Michelle Santos for monitoring the claim/questionnaire. If it was not for her, I'd still be waiting.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
