Excellent and quick

I have no complaints with Nationwide. Whenever I submit a claim they are quick to reply and send my money. I love the direct deposit option! Also I’ve used the Vet helpline a few times and they are so attentive and knowledgeable. They put me at ease and help me care for my dog.

Excellent everything, this was the best investment you never know and you need to be prepared, plus customer service is great

You never know what is going to happen and you need to protect yourself let’s they are family too, this was a great investment and well needed and their is no way as a single mom I would have been able to afford the vet care my 8 year old corgi needs and I will do anything for him.

It pays to have health insurance for your pet!!

My cat is a senior - age 10. I have had the insurance - wellness and medical for under a year now. I have had no issues and gotten many of my claims paid - except the ones with pre-existing conditions which I was advised during sign up were not covered. The claim process is easy and you get paid timely when you submit the claim. Customer service is helpful as well. I purchased this insurance on the advice of my vet. I highly recommended it and it has already paid for itself with money I got back on claims.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
