Best Pet Insurance

This has been the best experience having this Pet Insurance for Cooper!! I had NO idea my boy was going to have so many issues at his young age, but I'm so glad I got Nationwide behind me! I don't like having to take Cooper in to the Vet so often, but my gosh he's got so many issues. I have read a lot of reviews and a lot are mixed. So far I have had nothing but positive things to say and just hope I don't over use my policy. Thank you Nationwide!!!

Best Pet Insurance Company We've Found

Nationwide was not the cheapest pet insurance, but their cost was very fair. Unlike many companies, Nationwide covers 90% of the actual cost of your vet's charges-not 90% of whatever rate the insurance company thinks they should have to pay for a vet charge. And they cover meds that other companies don't touch. We have 3 dogs, ages 3, 8, and 13, and we are thrilled with our experience so far.

Nationwide tries to get you to leave when you pet gets older by increasing rate over 100%

We have had Nationwide formally VPI for over 14 years we recommended it to many people. When our pug turned 14 the policy rate doubled. We understand yearly rate increases but 100% increase is unaceptable. It feels as if Nationwide would like us to say its too much and cancel the policy and that is bad business. We now will not refer Nationwide to anyone and make sure we tell everyone about this. The days of Nationwide being the only insurance is long ago and we will look around for other policys from diffrent companies for future pets and NEVER use Nationwide again. Very shotty business practice and just a crappy thing to do.
