Great customer service and fast and easy claim processing!

My daughter just graduated from college and she always wanted a dog so we bought her a beautiful Pomeranian puppy that she named ‘Coco.’ Of course, we only want the best for Coco so our veterinarian recommended that we get Nationwide pet insurance. When I call your customer service number, everyone has been friendly and helpful. They answer my questions and are eager to help! The claims process is easy and fast with no hassles! I feel at ease knowing that Coco is getting the best care and I’m confident that Nationwide is there if ever I need them. Nationwide is definitely on our side!

The insurance coverage and reimibursement process worked well

I really liked the quicker direct deposit for submitted claims as compared to last year.. Great improvement.

Fantastic Insurance; I wish my personal health insurance was this good

This is my second pet that I've had on a Nationwide insurance program. I highly recommend. I must admit that I tried a cheaper option when we got our second dog, but switched back to Nationwide within a few months. The customer service, ease of claim and coverage is second to none.

I am so glad that I signed up with Nationwide, it has saved our budget and our dog!

I am so glad that we decided to get insurance for our dog, I started it thinking that I would try it for a year to see if it was worth it. I will definitely be renewing each year because it has saved us money and is easy to do and quick to refund. Thank you Nationwide.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
