MetLife | Pet Insurance Review

Off to a bad start with your insurance. I have had other pet insurance for the last 20 years with other companies, and never have had the problems that I have encountered with MetLife. Every claim has been a series of vague emails regarding more information to process the claim. Sometimes the claims have been duplicated ( not due to me ). MetLife has requested information from my vet that they had already sent before. This has happened twice now. You need to be more clear on exactly what documentation you need, and quit inconveniencing veterinary hospitals and your clients with multiple unclear emails with no follow up that the correct information had been received. That being said, my claims have been covered eventually, but not without me having to contact customer service on most of them.

My claim was easy to submit and payment was received in a timely manner.

Submitting claims and receipts are so easy. Claims are reimbursed within days. Ease of mind when emergencies come up with my pets

My claim was canceled due to the claim form missing. Takes a lot longer to process compared to Embrace and they don’t need a cover form.
