MetLife | Pet Insurance Review

I did everything online. It was so very easy and covered what I wanted for my pup. I haven't had to make a claim yet, happy day, but as a Veteran in the Soldier's Best Friend, program I'm sure my pup is in good care with this insurance and Riverside Veterinarian Clinic here in Tucson.

I have nothing but Curia for NetLife pet insurance…they process claims promptly & give excellent guidance when needed….am very pleased…

I am so sorry I ever got involved with MetLife Pet insurance. I switched from Pets Best which was wonderful because my employer was offering an affordable pet insurance company. I have 3 dogs and I need to know I am in good hands .I have submitted claims and soap notes just like I was instructed to do and I keep getting notifications that they are missing the information that I have already submitted over and over again. Processing claims is very difficult and time consuming. They want you to do it through the app and they want you do it through email and then they say we are missing the information. I am not going to bother my vet to submit the same exact information that I have submitted,. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I am so sorry I ever got involved with them.

So glad we had the MetLife dog insurance. This past summer my Frenchie suffered a horrible seizure and had to stay in the hospital for 4 days - then we had to go visit a neurologist vet. Thousands of dollars..... Already had met my deductible and very happy to say I got 90% back! It is very easy to submit the claims - and reimbursement comes in about 3 weeks. So happy I had the insurance.

I have never had pet insurance so I debated getting it for our newest dog. You hope to never use it, but just like any insurance, it’s nice to have if you do need it. Thankfully we did not have a large ER bill, but it certainly could have been. The process to make a claim was fairly easy. There was a little extra than I expected, but thankfully our regular vet had what we needed. Thank you for providing this option.
