Excellent service
Signing up and getting a quote was quick and easy. Claims are processed in less than 24 hours and checks are cut within days. Overall, we are glad we signed up with Lemonade.

User friendly
So far we are really satisfied with Lemonade Pet Insurance! We adopted a sweet 50lb mixed breed from the shelter and the claims reimbursement from just his initial wellness and vaccinations have almost already paid for themselves within just the first couple months! The app is so easy and makes filing claims a breeze.

Good service
I think Lemonade has been pretty good service. I feel like they get back to you for any questions or claims in a very timely manner. I only wish that insurance was paid directly to vet office but each company out there has different policy, that is the only thing I would change. Everything else has been outstanding and again the customer service is very courteous, professional, and timely. I would definitely recommend this service to others.
Monthly Cost
Policies start at $10/Month
Coverage
Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%,
80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Payout Limits
Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.
Deductible
$100, $250 or $500 annually.
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage
for pets as they age.
Waiting Period
All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods:
-2 days for accidents
-14 days for illnesses
-6 months for cruciate ligament events
There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.
Exclusions
Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
