When life gives you lemons… get Lemonade Insurance

I love this insurance! They offer great benefits for a lower rate than a lot of competitors specifically for what I was looking for. I feel good knowing my dog is protected from any accidents but also it helps with the general wellness items as well. They are super friendly and helpful and claims are easy to make through the app without need for additional assistance. I would recommend to everyone.

Can I give higher than a 10???

I have had pets all my life, but this is the first time I ever used pet insurance. I researched many companies, and Lemonade got the strongest reviews. And everyone was right. I have a puppy who has had to visit the vet multiple times over the past 6 months. Each time, it took maybe 5 minutes to upload my claim over my phone, and Lemonade reimbursed me directly to my checking account within seconds. SECONDS!!! And as an added benefit, they donate profits to charities. Wow!!! I have recommended them to everyone I know, and now I am recommending them to you as well.

Monthly Cost

Policies start at $10/Month

Coverage

Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.

Payout Limits

Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage for pets as they age.

Waiting Period

All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods: -2 days for accidents -14 days for illnesses -6 months for cruciate ligament events There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.

Exclusions

Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
