Love Lemonade!

My pup is all boy and very injury prone. I think my Lemonade rep knows me by heart 🤭 But they are always efficient, timely, and the claims process is extremely streamlined. I use it for emergency services because those can really pile up at the vet and my claims are usually processed within a week after a short explanation and submission of forms from the doctor! Super easy and painless. Customer service is great as well.

Lemonade-it worked well

My dog had some pretty concerning stomach problems and needed several diagnostic tests which found nothing wrong- great news but was thinking Lemonade might balk at paying since nothing of note was found. No problem with the claim-handled efficiently and well-I highly recommend Lemonade insurance.

Life saver

Unexpected bills are quickly and smoothly covered by Lemonade and possibly the best customer service I've experienced till date. Cannot count the number of times I've recommended lemonade to people. So good. Keep up the bad ass work y'all

Monthly Cost

Policies start at $10/Month

Coverage

Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.

Payout Limits

Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage for pets as they age.

Waiting Period

All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods: -2 days for accidents -14 days for illnesses -6 months for cruciate ligament events There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.

Exclusions

Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
