Excellent Insurance

When I was looking for pet insurance I chose Healthy Paws cause they have no cap for the year. Well I've been with them for over 7 years and I have 2 shepherds and no matter what has happened, I have never had a problem with a claim. They have been great and excellent customer service. I get follow up emails asking how my shepherds are doing. With kamala. She had both calls repaired and no issues even with her PT afterwards. I'm very grateful.

Happy to know my Baby is covered by a great health insurance!!

I enrolled with healthy paws when I picked my best friend from the humane society! I’m so glad I did. He recently had to have surgery to repair his ACL. Healthy Paws is a blessing. It cut the cost drastically and the customer service is phenomenal! I highly recommend Healthy Paws!!

Glad I had Healthy Paws

My six-year-old pit bull tore her CCL and required surgery and I was really hoping the Healthy Paws Insurance would be as good as I had heard. I have had the policy since 2017 but haven't had to use it until now. I'm so relieved that they were in fact a company of integrity and their fast follow up and prompt payment of everything we had hoped for allowed us to focus on helping Maisie through her surgery and recovery without the additional stress of wondering how we were going to come up with the several thousand dollars required for the surgery. I would recommend them to anyone and am so grateful.

Great coverage with fast and easy claims processing!

Obtaining pet insurance with HealthyPaws was the greatest decision we’ve made for our almost 2 year old Labrador Retriever. Benefits are clearly explained. Customer service is top notch with quick response times and claims processing. No need for the vet to complete special paperwork; just snap a photo of the vet invoice and submit via the HealthyPaws app. Our girl recently needed emergency medical care which was quite costly. Within two days, HealthyPaws had reviewed the claim, directly deposited our reimbursement, and even followed up to see how our girl was feeling. Highly recommend to any and all pet owners!!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
