Best insurance to give you peace of mind for your furry baby

We’ve had Healthy Paws for our dog Balthazar for three years now. Since getting the insurance our dog developed allergies that needed monthly medication and he’s also had a couple of accidents that needed emergency care. It’s such a relief to know that we have insurance to cover these costs. Healthy Paws is quick to approve claims and also quick to disburse reimbursements. I highly recommend them for all furry families.

Great customer service

Healthy Paws has been an excellent insurance company to work with! It was such a relief to know that we had pet insurance when our dog needed to have a total ear ablation. Customer support was a delight; they were responsive and communicated where were were in the claims process every step of the way. I definitely recommend Healthy Paws, not only for the attention to the customer, but for the peace of mind of working with them!

Having been a first time dog owner I…

Having been a first time dog owner I purchased a Healthy Paws policy for my puppy. Well at 2 years old he developed epilepsy :( As difficult and heartbreaking as the diagnosis was, I was so grateful to have a Healthy Paws policy. This company is amazing! There is no yearly cap on reimbursement, the customer service is so helpful and the claims are processed quickly! I highly recommend Healthy Paws to any pet owner I know! Unfortunately the unexpected happens with our fur babies but having this policy allows my boy to have the best medical care possible!

100% Worth it

We’ve had healthy paws since we got our dog almost 5 years ago. It’s helped us so much and we never have to worry about if we will be strapped for cash and can give our dog the care he needs when he needs it.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
