Worth every penny!

Our dog got suddenly very ill and ended up in the ICU for 2 days. Each phone call from the vet was about yet another test that needed to be done. While we were so very worried about him, we had peace of mind because we had HEALTHY PAWS Pet Insurance. A bill of over $3000 was under $1000 and would've been even less if we had already met the deductible.I have told anyone who asked about him to get HEALTHY PAWS! And, they checked on him afterward! (He is back to normal!)

Rookie's Recovery and Healthy Paws

Over the last six months our Labradoodle was experiencing health issues difficult to diagnosis. After hospitalization, lab tests and seeing specialists for more tests, our dog, Rookie, was finally diagnosed. With a diet change and daily medication, he is his old self again. This was a very stressful time for us and we thank Healthy Paws for their prompt, caring service during this time.

Anake bite

My dog got bot by a snake twice inside of two weeks. Healthy Paws took care of it, no problem. They also inquired how she was doing after. Couldn't be happier with their coverage.

Amazing service would recommend to any pet parent!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
