Health Paws has done exactly what they say they will do.

Health Paws has done exactly what they say they will do. Our dog Gabby got very sick and we paid our bills and send them to Healthy Paws and they are quick to respond sending you a check. They also are kind enough to check on Gabby. . If you are looking for insurance I recommend Healthy Paws.

Looking for pet insurance? Healthy Paws wins...paws down!

We have owned dogs for many years, and have learned (the hard way) of not having pet insurance when you really need it: for injuries, sickness, or end-of-life care. Our first pet insurance provider was VPI, which was offered through an employer. On a scale of 1 to 10, VPI is the worst. Barely a "1." Their default position on every claim is "no" and you have to fight for the coverage you've paid for. Then we found Healthy Paws. They are off the charts, 10+, and I can't say enough positive things about them.. The ease of claim submission, fast processing, and having a "customer first" perspective are all among the reasons Healthy Paws is an easy choice for people who care about their own pets and are passionate about animal welfare. I know this sounds like a commercial. It is not. Just a solid recommendation for a great company.

Great Customer Service

They paid my claim within 10 days, just as advertised, even though it took longer than that to get all my supporting documents to them. They also kept me informed about the progress of my claim. At the time I signed up, four years ago, they also had the best rates for my dog's age. I haven't comparison shopped since then but I've been happy with the service and not tempted to change. When I emailed a question about a rate change, their customer service was prompt to reply with an explanation. Compared to my previous pet insurance company, which took over two months to pay a claim (I suspect they were waiting to get more premium payments from me), Healthy Paws has been stellar.

Iris surgery

I have had healthy paws for over a year and never needed it until now. My youngest dog Iris needed TPLO surgery and they reimbursed the money to me so quickly it helped pay the credit card I used for the surgery. They are so easy to work with. Thank you so much and they even emailed to check on her.

We were so grateful we decided to get our rescue dog insurance. Now she just needed surgery

Most definitely would recommend healthy paws to other pet owners. Everyone is so nice and caring about your animal. We have had them for 4 years and not one complaint about them
