They are amazing, efficient, and they care about your pet.

I’ve had Healthy Paws since I’ve had my dog and fortunately she’s been pretty healthy but recently she needed an operation and if I didn’t have insurance, it would have been a real hot to the bank account. Healthy Paws came through with a reimbursement check in a couple weeks and I’m so grateful I decided to get pet insurance. If you’re reading this and you’ve never considered pet insurance before, get it, it will save you thousands. I have never had a problem with Healthy Pet so I recommend them but definitely get insurance. It’s worth every penny.

Thank God for Healthy Paws

I have been using Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for years. I am so glad I chose them. My dog Grizzly just had his cataracts removed. He was blind prior and can now see well. The 6 thousand dollar price dag was no problem be cause his health was insured!

HealthyPaws helped us get the best care!

Having HealthyPaws insurance for our new puppy meant we were able to ask the vets for the best care when she recently got sick and had to go to the hospital. We knew we were covered and were able to have the doctors run all the recommended diagnostic testing required without worrying. After our puppy was discharged from the hospital, we submitted the claim and were reimbursed in less than a week via direct deposit without any fuss or hassle. Healthy Paws has already paid for itself and our sweet pup is only 5 months old (and healthy now!).

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
