Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

We have had healthy paws for a few years now with both of our dogs. This is the only insurance company I've ever worked with that has personally reached out after any surgeries to check on our dog's health. I was pleasantly surprised when I received a personalized email asking how our dog Ralph was after a minor procedure to remove a lump. Their app is extremely easy to use and I've never run into any problems. The claim process is also easy to follow and I have never had any issues. Reimbursement was received within 1-2 business days. Would highly recommend this insurance company.

Our Shepherd/Lab mix has had a rough year of health issues, but Healthy Paws has paid all of our claims in 24 hours (other than one over $1,000 that took a little longer to process but was paid appropriately). Thank you to Healthy Paws for being there for us when we need you!

I've had Healthy Paws insurance for my dog Hazel for several years now. I had 2 dogs prior to Hazel without insurance and purchasing insurance and choosing Healthy Paws was one of the best decisions I've made. Claims are easy to file by just uploading the invoices. I typically file claims using the Healthy Paws App or on going to their web site on my laptop and receive reimbursement within 10 days. Most recently Hazel tore her ACL and needed TLPO surgery. It was sudden and scary and in the end it was a $7k procedure. Healthy Paws under my plan covered 90% - thank goodness!! For full transparency...My monthly rates, as with any health insurance, have increased annually --- but I feel so fortunate I continued with this plan and was able to give Hazel the care she needs without a financial hardship.

I have 2 dogs on the policy the first claim was easy. The second one took forever over a month then they disapproved stating they needed medical records when I called and confirmed several times that they need nothing. They NEVER responded to email on the customer service tab. I had to wait on the phone for ever each time I called in.

I highly recommend this insurance company. I shopped around for the best coverage for the money and I am happy to day that Healthy Paws Has exceeded my expectations in putting a personal touch on claims handling and all communications. Thank you Healthy Paws!
