I am so grateful and impressed with…

I am so grateful and impressed with Healthy Paws customer service and speediness on resolving claims. I lost my job when the pandemic hit and it's been a rough road with my dog Pancake. I adopted her 11 months ago and right after adopting her had to take her to the ER, and then a few months later she starts to hop, eventually leading to a ruptured CCL. All to say that I didn't know the difference when I signed up with Healthy Paws (referred by Pancake's dog trainer) but now I DO know the difference. There is no way I'd be able to cover the astronomical bills my dog has incurred in under 1 year. I'm grateful that I don't have to consider not getting her care due to costs, and I'm grateful that upon submitting a claim, the reimbursement shows up in my bank account within a few days. That is relief and eases my mind so I don't have to stress about money. Thank you for taking care of me and my dog through this very challenging time.

They are there for you and your pet

Healthy Paws lwas so easy and efficient They are readily available and willing to go above and beyond to help with your claim. We have a 3 year old cat that was diagnosed with (CKD) chronic kidney disease. We were faced with whetherowe could hospitalize him for the best outcome or have him treated on an outpatient basis. Thanks to insurance we were able to give him the best care possible. The docs at the hospital were able to get his values down to normal and save his life. He was in hospital for nine days. Our bills were over four thousand dollars. We were concerned and not sure what they would pay. Just as they advertised, They paid 80% with exception to physicals. In addition to paying, they got on the phone and helped me gather information that I was lacking for my claims. Claims were paid promptly. I never felt that I was dealing with insurance. They did everything possible to get me paid. Bentley's issues will be ongoing and will be treated for his illness the rest of his life. I am very thankful for everyone at Healthy Paws for all they did to help Bentley then and future. No worries on keeping him at the best condition medically possible. Thank you all at Healthy Paws.

Dog exploded but not my bank account!

Our dog developed a large, serious abscess, and after ignored by the usual vet. I woked up at 2AM to our dog crying terribly because it had come to the surface and ruptured, exploding lymph and blood everyone. At age 5, we weren't going to let her go because someone else missed something. After 4 weeks of surgery (including draining the abscess, debriding an extensive area of necrotic tissues, and installing a drain, we're happy to say our dog is happy and healthy. And we are even more grateful that Healthy Paws was here for us; they reviewed our claim and dealt reimbursement fairly. There has been no talk of kicking us from the plan or anything for such a large claim. Because of their business operations, we got that money back to save away (perhaps in another dog fund.) I'd really recommend Healthy Paws, everything was extremely simple and user-friendly to get our claim filed and done.

Thank My Lucky Stars for Healthy Paws!

Murphy is my fourth pure bred German Shepherd. I've insured all but one of them, and I learned that was a mistake because it is always something with the pure bred Shepherds although it's mostly been a different issue with each one. Murphy is the first dog I've insured with Healthy Paws and they are by far the best. The claims handling process is super simple, they pay very promptly and customer service is very helpful. Murphy just had both of his elbows operated on and I wasn't sure if everything would be covered so I called for some guidance. Although they can't guarantee coverage, they will explain what categories of treatment won't be covered. For example, treatment considered experimental like stem cell shots is not covered. Frankly, I was surprised at the breadth of the rehab they do cover. I also think that the unlimited dollar amount of claims is hugely important. I could not have afforded all of the treatment Murphy requires without the policy (his elbow surgery and treatment will end up costing about $7K). Luckily, I have 90% reimbursement. Although it costs a little bit more in premiums, Healthy Paws reimburses me more each month than I pay in premiums because Murphy also developed allergies and is on monthly meds that are expensive. Sometimes I even feel a little guilty submitting claims because they have paid so much more than my premiums. I've recommended Healthy Paws to a lot of people, but generally they don't end up even getting insurance. That seems insane to me. It is one of the best investments you can make in your pet.
