This is the best company I have ever had for my pet insurance. Unlike other companies I have dealt with, this company pays out your claims promptly and without endless excuses to reduce the amount of the payments. When you sign up for a 10 percent deductible, you get back a full 90% of your vet fees. Other companies I have dealt with manage to come up with various exclusions bringing down their claim payments to only around 50% on a 90% plan. In fact, I recently had vet bills of over $30,000 dollars for my two sick dogs, one receiving cancer treatments and the other needing major knee surgery. Healthy Paws paid me the full 90% of some very expensive claims. They even sent an email asking how my dog was doing after the knee surgery. You can’t buy better pet insurance than this. I’ll stick with Healthy Paws for all my future pet insurance needs. You should give them a try.

I am so pleased with Healthy Paws
I am so pleased with Healthy Paws. My claims are processed in a quick and efficient manner. They are very professional and have saved me so much money.
Healthy Paws Ins. Is amazing! They are very cost effective and pay out at 90%. Their staff is very helpful, kind and curtious. They always treat me like family and know just what to say in times of need.
We, like many others, adopted a puppy during the pandemic. A friend recommended Healthy Paws and it was the best decision we ever made! It really takes the anxiety out of pet ownership, and means that we never have to make hard decisions due to finances. Our plan has saved us, and saved our pup, countless times. The customer service is always supportive, and we cannot recommend Healthy Paws enough!
People rarely take the time to write good reviews. If the company does what it promises, we’ll that’s expected. I had two dogs (one has passed, unfortunately) with another insurance company. It has not been pleasant. When I got my first pet insurance policy, I really didn’t do a lot of research. Having experienced terrible customer service, lifetime limits (my fault), and up to four months to settle a claim, I did a lot of research when I got a new puppy. I chose Healthy Paws. So let me tell you about my first experience. He was hospitalized with pneumonia two weeks after I signed up with Healthy Paws. I sent them the invoice and doctors notes. The claim was settled two days (yes two days) after my submission. The money was in my account the third day. They reimbursed the exact amount that was stated in the policy. That was a year ago. I posted this experience on Facebook, and it turns out, many of my friends use Healthy Paws. They all said they had similar experiences. Over the past year, I have submitted claims for minor illnesses, and the experience is the same. The money is in my account within 7 days of submission. Given my experience with the other insurance company, it is extremely stress less and straight forward. Healthy Paws might be a little more expensive, but absolutely worth the cost.
So just a little advice if you are doing research. Lifetime incident amount is critical. If your breed is susceptible to certain disorders, take that into consideration when you sign up for the lifetime limit. With my other insurance company. (I still have an old dog and I can’t take him off that policy) I had a $5000 lifetime incident cap. He is a clumber spaniel and they are prone to get hip dysplasia. He has had two operations for hirneated discs. I maxed out on the first operation. My new dog is also a clumber spaniel, so I signed on to a 25k max. Hopefully, it will be a complete waste of money.
Bottom line, Healthy Paws is excellent.
