I cannot say enough about healthy paws…

I cannot say enough about healthy paws insurance my lab or doodle was one year old and has had two surgeries that were very very intricate. They consisted of having both legs broken having plates and screws and healthy pause was there the entire time financially I would’ve never been able to afford this if it wasn’t for them. I recommend them highly above all other insurance. Thanks Healthy Paws!!

Healthy Paws is excellent

Every part of the process of working with Healthy Paws has made our experience getting a diagnosis for our sweet rescue puppy. Submitting claims is easy. Ongoing communication of their process was crystal clear. As promised financial reimbursement, received quickly. AND, delightful customer service. They answer questions, followed up to see how our pup fared after her vet care. I highly recommend Healthy Paws to all pet owners!

Great customer service!

Our little 7 month old Biewer Terrier ate sugar free gum and we almost lost him. The pet hospital bill was going to be outrageous, however we did not have to stress about it because we had pet insurance through Healthy Paws. I submitted our bill through the app online and within 24 hours our claim was being processed. They also offer direct deposit so our reimbursement will go directly into our account and we don’t have to wait for a check in the mail. We received emails from Healthy Pass checking in on our little guy. I could not be happier with the process and the company!

My cat had a urinary blockage, thankfully HealthyPaws was here for us

A month ago my cat was straining to urinate. One day he wasn't able to pee at all. After taking him to the ER, they told us that he had a blockage, and that they had to perform surgery, a Perineal Urethrostomy Surgery. The cost was pretty high, but thankfully HealthyPaws covered most of the cost! Highly recommend! The only thing is that HealthyPaws does not put the money upfront. You need to put it from pocket, and then they would eventually refund you.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
