Best decision I made was getting Healthy Paws!

My first Golden Retriever had a $6,000 life saving surgery just two weeks after bringing her home. I didn't have insurance and when I tried to get it after, I was told she had a pre-existing condition. With my second puppy I bought insurance right away and after researching numerous insurances I chose Healthy Paws. Best decision I could have made. They have such an easy claim submission process, they process claims super quickly, and they don't have a cap or minimum. Honestly, they've been a life saver with this new girl as she unfortunately has tummy issues as well! I highly recommend getting their insurance!

Awesome Company

I have insured my dogs with Healthy Paws since they were puppies, so for over 5 years now. They are great at processing claims in a timely manner, most simple claims are done within 24 hours!! One of my dogs recently had to undergo surgery and even that extensive claim was processed within a few days. And they covered absolutely everything needed to do the surgery plus what was needed make my dog as comfortable as possible. About a week after the surgery I received an email from Healthy Paws Customer Service asking how my dog was doing after her surgery. I thought that was such a nice gesture!! I'm a very happy customer!

We are very grateful we chose Healthy Paws Pet Insurance

We are very grateful we chose Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for our golden Retriever. Unfortunately, our dog has had more than her share of medical issues and operations. Claim process is very user friendly, claims are handled promptly, good customer support if any questions, and we have never had one claim denied for "fine print" loop holes. Frankly, if not for Healthy Paws Insurance, we would not have been able to afford the needed medical procedures which saved our dog's life. Wonderful company, no trying to turn down claims like some other companies with "fine print" loop holes.

Unfortunately, our dog has had some major medical issues and operations, without Healthy Paws Per Insurance we would not have been able to provide the needed medical care, which saved her life. In all the claims we sent in, not one was ever denied, claims are processed in a timely manner and they are very helpful if you have any questions. I would highly recommend Healthy Paws Insurance; we are so glad we chose them for our pet's insurance. Dave

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
