Healthy Paws has been a lifesaver

Healthy Paws has been a lifesaver for both my dogs. Knowing that I don't have to worry about overwhelming vet bills for my dogs is a tremendous relief. I've had to use the program a few times, and filing a claim is incredibly easy. It takes less than 60 seconds in most cases. I've typically had reimbursements processed within just a few days - even when the expense was larger due to a surgery. I'll never go without pet insurance again for my dogs!

Excellent pet insurance - Surgery

Excellent pet insurance. We would have paid between 12-15k for a carcinoma removal surgery without this policy. Instead we paid only 10% of the total.

HEALTHY PAWS CANNOT BE BEAT. STOP LOOKING AROUND.

Hands down, Healthy Paws cannot be beat. My baby, Riley, swallowed pieces of toys and needed life saving abdominal surgery. The whole situation was scary enough and then add the $12k bill, its enough to bring you to tears. Thankfully we had a great surgeon and FANTASTIC insurance. Healthy Paws covered the entire bill 90% and the money WAS IN MY ACCOUNT IN 2 DAYS. Thank you Healthy Paws for all you do for our fur babies!!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
