Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Healthy Paws makes the pet insurance process seamless. The fact that all I have to do is upload my vet receipt and then get payment back in ~a week's time is pretty remarkable. I've talked to friends who also have pet insurance from other companies and they have told me it can take months for their claims to process just to get a small amount of money back. I've referred Healthy Paws to anyone who asks who we use for our pet insurance and I have nothing but great things to say. Vet trips are never easy, but Healthy Paw's ensures there's one less thing to worry about.

I have been with Healthy Paws for almost 6 years and am so grateful for their coverage. Both my dogs had to go through knee surgery (one of them in both legs, with almost 9 months of recovery time) and it was Healthy Paws that made it financially feasible. Their deductibles are bery reasonable, and their customer service is fast, responsive and empathetic... someone from HP even checked in on my dog by email to see how they were doing after their surgery. The reimbursements are always deposited into my account very quickly, and the app is extremely easy to navigate.

Healthy Paws has and continues to to help provide the best medical care. My Yorkie suffered a collapsed trachea last year. To date we have filed over 30 claims, and we have been reimbursed every time. The process is quick & easy with the app and payment is directly deposited. Most claims are completed in 3-5 days. Some of the larger claims take a little longer, like 7-10 days. I recommend this pet insurance to anyone getting a new puppy. Hopefully you never have to use it, but if you do, this company is there for you and they do what they promise. They even check in on our little guy to see how he’s feeling.

I cannot say enough about Healthy Paws. They have exceeded my expectations of a pet insurance. My premiums have not gone up through the roof either. They check in on him to see how he’s doing as they are aware that he will have a lifetime of medical needs. Best pet insurance.

I was a customer with Healthy Paws since 2016. I had surgery in 2022 and had some payment items change. Typically my bank forwards my information to new providers during a card change, but apparently that did not happen with HealthyPaws. When I finally noticed the payment issue after several months I called Healthy Paws to reinstate my service and they said they could not do that and I needed to re-enroll. I asked if they could waive the waiting period because I had been a loyal customer for years and never even filed a claim. They said they could not do that. I think this is a terrible way to treat a loyal customer who made an honest mistake. I will not be using this service again. To pre-empt their response - I used a different email for the account I had with them long-term. The email attached here is my new email.
