Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Please, if you care about your pet's health, do not use this company. I've been going back and forth with them for two months trying to get reimbursed for my dog's pneumonia bills. Three vet clinics have sent my dog's records to Healthy Paws multiple times, but they just keep requesting the same records over and over until they cancel the claim. This is a borderline fraudulent business. Their communication is terrible, and they make fining a claim impossible. Shop for insurance somewhere else. I'll be switching to another company.

I am incredibly happy with Healthy Paws! I purchased their insurance right after getting my pet in November 2020. It is easy to file a claim, they are communicative and efficient in processing the claims, and they even go above and beyond. For instance, my dog just needed major surgery and not only was the claims process seamless, they reached out to me to see how she was doing. I was so appreciative of that and I believe it speaks to not only their customer service, but genuine care for our pets. I HIGHLY recommend Healthy Paws!!

Healthy Paws has been a godsend for the rescue dog I adopted earlier this year. I was on the fence about whether to get pet insurance and I'm so glad I did. Their customer service is wonderful and they process claims accurately and efficiently. Would recommend them for any pet owner!

If you are on the fence about which insurance to get, get HealthyPaws. We have had HealthPaws for both of our pups for over seven years. This review is long overdue. When our 13-year-old puggle became suddenly ill, knowing we could focus on her and not have the weight of how much an emergency hospitalization was so helpful. From a business perspective, HealthyPaws has always reviewed the claims quickly and made payment in less than 10 business days (usually much faster), which is amazing. Then comes HealthyPaws humanity. After Zoe's unexpected visit, we received an email checking in asking how she was doing. *Never* in my human life, have I had an insurance company reach out to me after an unexpected illness. They do not only give you peace of mind to focus on the furry love of your life, by they care. They care about the furry ones they insure, and I am just not quite sure you can ask for more than that.
