Best decision I've ever made!

My 4-year-old rescue is recovering from acute kidney failure. He spent a week in the hospital and has had at least a dozen follow-up visits, lots of tests, and ongoing medication. His excellent care comes with a big price tag. Thankfully, I had made the decision for pet insurance -- and Healthy Paws has really come through! They cover exactly what they say they will cover, filing claims couldn't be easier, and reimbursement lands in my bank account within a few days. Without a doubt, Healthy Paws is a 5-star pet insurance provider!

Healthy Paws has been WONDERFUL to work…

Healthy Paws has been WONDERFUL to work with! We have had out kitty insured with them since we adopted him, and he has had multiple kidney problems since. Healthy Paws been extremely helpful each time--they have reimbursed us with no issues whatsoever, and makes the process easy and fast. We will insure every pet we have with Healthy Paws from now on!

My 5-1/2 year old Pitbull needed surgery for a ruptured Cranial Cruciate Ligament. I am a Healthy Paws Pet Insurance customer. I submitted all the invoices related to the CCL injury to Healthy Paws, totaling more than $10,000. Healthy Paws responded with an Explanation of Benefits within two days every time. A reimbursement check for covered items was direct deposited within a day or two after that. It was a no hassles service with quick response. They go above and beyond by following up to make sure your pet is okay and that you are satisfied. I highly recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
